this is a rather old work but it has much sentimental value to me because it is what got me into the Games industry. it was actually a drawing test i did for the Japanese game company Genki which set up their branch in Singapore back in 2004. below is the original hand drawing submitted.

in 2006 when i visited Tokyo for the first time, i found the exact place in the above reference image. my friend helped take a photo of me mimicking my drawing. however i failed to stand at the exact spot!
